Dogged by Security Guard Harold and delayed by a tryst with Delilah, the two men hit the "high spots" of high tech hell. Gradually we learn Marvin has a plan and it does not include spending eternity in the [10th Circle] of Hell. ... The [10th Circle] is humorous and exceedingly well written. Techno-geeks as well as those folk who feel overwhelmed by today's technology will greatly enjoy this book. I found the punishment set aside for telemarketers, lawyers and such particularly heart-warming. The undiscovered Book of Mortimer gives the reader a new perspective on the events of the Old Testament. Of special interest are the new Rules to live by sprinkled throughout. The 10th Circle is the revised and updated edition of the book originally published under the title: Gone Awry - a virtual tour of high tech hell. The first edition received rave reviews. Those who realize that we are all now imprisoned in "high tech hell," should enjoy this satire.
About the Author
James Ignizio has worked as a farm hand, surveyor, professor, and (an actual) rocket scientist. An ardent Anglophile, his favorite authors include: Orwell, Kipling, Milne, Dickens, and Agatha Christie. His interests range from orbital mechanics and artificial intelligence to rugby and American football. He must admit, however, that he has done more than his part to burden the world with "the hell of high technology."
James and his wife live and write in the Hill Country of Texas.

Loved this book

Loved this book! It makes you stop and think about life. I found the description of the characters very amusing! I wanted to keep reading...anxious to see where the journey was taking me. Loved the Smiley Faces, which by the way originated in Worcester, MA, a place near and dear to my heart!! I think the "Big Guy" would like this book.
